Schneider's Quality Meats processes your venison using our award-winning sausage recipes. We use only the freshest cuts of pork with your venison, then hickory smoke the sausage in our German smokehouse. The quality of our venison sausage is second to none.


Schneider's Quality Meats does not accept venison that is under testing for Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD). Please store your venison in the freezer and if the test comes back negative for CWD, we will be happy to process it for you at that time. We accept field dressed or cleaned boneless venison for processing. Boneless venison should be from the current year, cleaned and trimmed of fat. The deer tag must be presented at time of check-in. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Note: We offer 24-hour deer drop-off during bow and shotgun season. Drop off your field-dressed deer (deer tag must be attached) at the refrigerated trailer located at our back dock. You can also attach a completed processing form. Please contact 618-939-5252 the next morning to confirm receipt and discuss processing instructions.


Schneider's Quality Meats reserves the right to refuse any venison that has not been properly field dressed, cleaned, trimmed or preserved. We will not accept meat that is freezer burned, outdated, or has any odor that is not consistent with fresh venison.
